The ‘Australian Hugh Hefner’ has defended his parenting skills after his wife’s grandparents expressed concern for their children growing up in a party mansion.
Travers Beynon, a tobacco tycoon, calls himself The Candyman and has become popular on Instagram for sharing pictures of his life of expensive cars and poolside parties.
He hosts lavish parties at a sprawling $3.7 million riverside property on the Gold Coast, where he lives with his wife Taesha – who he was pictured leading around on a leash – and his four children.
After copping criticism for raising his family at the same home as the parties on national television on Monday, Mr Beynon posted an image of himself with his young family and a video of a lavish children’s party on at the ‘Candyshop Mansion’ with the hashtag, ‘king of the kids.’
Mr Beynon continued to share pictures of himself and his wife and ‘biggest supporter’ on Tuesday evening, captioned ‘haters only wish their wife backed them 100% like mine [sic] does.’
He also shared a picture that read, ‘Tall poppy syndrome can get stuffed,’ along with some words of wisdom for those being bullied.
‘My advice to anyone who has ever been bullied, stay strong, keep moving forward and you will overcome the adversity,’ he wrote.

‘I am their PROTECTOR AND PROVIDER’, he wrote on Instagram. ‘#wearesafewithourdad’
The clip of the lavish party he shared on Tuesday afternoon shows young children enjoying inflatable swimming pools, face painting, pony rides, clowns, live snakes and even giant water balls in the million dollar pool.
In typical lavish style, the children walk up red carpet, lined with paparazzi pointing cameras and microphones.
‘My advice to anyone who has ever been bullied, stay strong, keep moving forward and you will overcome the adversity,’ he captioned this image on his Instagram on Tuesday night
This comes after Mr Beynon also captioned an image of his young family with ‘There is one thing I cherish more than throwing the biggest and best parties… and that is my KIDS AND FAMILY,’ he wrote.
‘I also throw the biggest kids parties, they forgot that part! #kingofthekids.’
Taesha’s grandparents, Graham and Evon Appleby, broke down on A Current Affair on Monday night and said they are devastated at having no contact with Taesha and her two girls.
Although Taesha has the title of The Candyman’s wife, she shares the former model and AFL star with hundreds of other women, including her best friend who shares their bed nightly.
Mr Beynon has four children, two with Taesha and two with his former wife and Miss World 1991, Ninibeth Leal.
‘We just want to hold them for the first time,’ Mrs Appleby said. ‘We just want to walk in there and grab Taesha, grab the girls, and pull them out of there.’

He is also dubbed The Candyman and has two children with his wife Taesha who also live in the Gold Coast mansion and have never met their great grandparents
After seeing the image of their granddaughter on a leash they admit they are not frequent viewers of My Beynon’s social media pages.
‘We don’t spend a lot of time looking at it his website because it breaks our heart.’
Mr Appleby says he and his wife are heartbroken that they missed their granddaughter’s wedding and cannot contact their great grandchildren.
‘He may think this is funny, but I don’t think anyone finds it funny.’
Some of Beynon’s Instagram posts contain signs for his business, Freechoice Tobacco. The company’s website says it operates more than 200 tobacconist stores nationwide.
Daily Mail Australia has learned the federal Department of Health is seeking legal advice on whether some of Mr Beynon’s social media postings breach Australia’s strict anti-tobacco advertising laws.
Under the Tobacco Advertising Prohibition Act 1992, it is an offence to publish or broadcast a tobacco advertisement.
A Health Department spokesman said: ‘The Department has recently become aware of some social media postings which appear to be associated with Mr Beynon.
‘The Department has requested legal advice to determine if these postings are likely to breach the Act.
‘The Department will consider what action to take after it has considered its legal advice on this matter.’

Not everyone condemns Beynon’s hedonistic parties and sexualising of women.
‘Lamborghinis, Rolls Royces, food everywhere, drinks, girls… It’s fantastic,’ party attendee George Petafvrakis told A Current Affair.
While Mr Appleby condemned the ostentatious mansion, Mr Petafvrakis who had attended the ‘Playboy’ parties, calls the lavish lifestyle ‘fantastic’
